What does 'have a break' mean exactly? So she says she loves me, isn't that all you're supposed to need?

So the long distance is hard, it's hard on me to. But the idea was that we work at it as hard as it needs, to hold together until a time when we can live togther again. Not just for our relationship, because if we move back in together after all this we may decide to ease into something less intense anyway, but for my own peace of mind. If she tells me we can't be togther ever again I will loose all belief that a girl will fight for someone she loves.

Why do I always have to be let down. I don't want to end up some cynical, bitter, womaniser, I really liked the fairy tale of, us. I've never even had a male friend so close, nor found someone so attractive...

Although coming off the pill and going cold turkey after 2 years has got to do something to the old hormones. This could be why I feel so damn confused. Why do ladies struggle so when explaining feelings of the heart.
