Crazy, but calm lately...
Waiting to hear from insurance still on their accessment of my vans damage form my accident two weeks ago. The little Ol' lady took her little Ol' time filing a claim...so finally there's some movement thanks to my persistant agent. Found another van that hopefully I will like. Gonna hopefully test drive it this weekend and go from there on making an offer to buy it.
I haven't been able to drink any beer over that last week and a half due to some meds I'm on to fight a injury infection I got two months ago. Alcohol and the anti-biotics don't mix well and doc says to ween off the beer until I'm done taking the meds. Two more weeks to go off them...geesshhh.
I'm managing nicely however and have only had one beer in just over 9 days time.
So...No drinking for me over the 4th of July weekend while at Con-vergence. Oh well...I'll be fine and sober enough to flirt with lots of lovely geeked out girlies while wondering about. Doing an Aikido demo there on Sunday at Noon, which should be fun, we have an hour slot and man its gonna be rough trying to fill an hour to just show and talk about Aikido and keep people interested. So lots of flashy stuff will be had be me and several others taking part in the demo.
The Circus has come to town and is setting up right across the street from me in a huge parking lot. Looks like a carnival set up so far with a few small colorful tents sprouting from the asphalt. Its called Kooza, which is a part of Cirque de Solei, and all of the neighborhood in Lowertown is a buzz with trucks hailing and workers hammering away to get the tents up. Should be interesting to see if it helps with businesses down here?

Fun, fun, fun...we are still waiting on a firmer confirmation on whether or not we will be fooling around with a Dominatrix this summer or not. She must be busy as she last sent me a message saying she was booked thru July. Hopefully we can get things to work out, cuz that would be alot of fun! If it doesn't happen...oh well...I'm sure we'll have our own fun; just as we have been anyways...
