Here's pics of my finished sleeve work...finally.







Started in April 08 on the elbow and worked our way down to the wrist. Nine sessions, 32 hours, still one small area above the inside elbow needs to be filled. My shoulder to elbow (half sleeve)has been finished your many years. I
"m still getting use to having a full sleeve. It's something I thought I'd never do. But once I made the decision I knew it would be huge symbol of a new chapter being started in my life with me becoming divorced.
I was thinking about my ex-wife the other day and how much I miss her and my life from that time, but now I see my left arm and it snaps me right out of it as its a reminder to me for the ideas of moving on, starting fresh, new, and with new artistic, harmonic energy. So, much like alot of people who get ink for significant reasons, this is huge for me. Not to mention the symbolism and reoccuring themed opposites in this new sleeve work the art itself can represent. This has mutli layered meanings and insightful, mindful, reasoning behind it. I'm very happy with it and will use it to help me keep turning pages in this new chapter of my life.
