What I want for Christmas:

I could always get more food.

Or even, perhaps some water.

I like animals. Perhaps a sheep, duck, goat, or chicken.

For the organically minded, perhaps you'd prefer buying me some seeds.

I could always use more medicine.

It's not Christmas if I don't get some new clothes.

And, of course there are my two loves in life: Perhaps you could buy me a basketball, or a soccer ball.

If none of these appeal to you, you could always get crafty and give me some art lessons.

To be honest, though, as good as all these gifts are. Nothing would be more valuble than to see a child find safety and security.



Do you get the picture? Christmas is about giving, not getting. The only thing I want to receive this Christmas is the knowledge that those that have needs (not wants) found them met. Please look through these, pass them on, give, and let me know what you gave. Make my heart glad. My next blog probably won't be till after Christmas and I'll be letting you know what and how I gave. merry Christmas, everyone.
