OK, so for Christmas I moved into my new apartment. It's a great little place. A little smaller than where I am now, but nicer and it has a beautiful yard. Granted that yard is buried under about a foot of snow right now but hey, at least I don't have to mow it yet.

Anyways, for Christmas the fam got together and instead of buying each other Christmas presents we all rolled coins. You see, all year long everybody saved up their loose change and then we all got together and sorted it and counted it around the table on Christmas day. It worked out to $443 or something around there. Then we pulled out a World Vision catalog (you can check them out at worldvision.org) and everybody chose what cause they would give towards. We covered everything from mocrofinancing for a single mom, reforestation, digging a well, Aids education, food for the horn of Africa, medicine for SE Asia. You name it.

The best part about it is we all had a ton more fun than we normally would opening up presents and faking pleasure only to return them a day or two later.
