The past couple of days have seemed to fly by... it all went so quickly...
My sanity problems (obviously as I write this from the comfort of my sister's house in Ohio) left me far behind after that last storm. We managed to get a long what seemed like wonderfully for the last few days, mingled with flu-spawned indifference. Funny how a 100 degree fever will do that to you... I made it back home in one piece (though the longest drive ever) and am so glad to be back home. Everyone has been excited to see me again and getting to spend time w/ my family has filled my days so far. It's so great to have the kids walk through the door and shriek when they see me, running at me and hugging my legs. I guess it never really occured to me how much they could miss me. Mumma and dad even decided to throw down together and get me a laptop and that's gonna rawk out on a boat...
I met some really rad people yesterday at James'. His girlfriend Lexy is really cute, though not my Babygirl, and BL is kinda scary, but has great intentions I think. Steve is one of the sweetest guys I've ever had the chance to stay up (way too) late talking to. More people should wander in as the weekend draws closer and I can't wait to see them all...
Oh, to be home again.
So sweet...
