It's finally Friday and I'm definitely ready for the weekend. This week has been incredibly emotional and the upcoming week will no doubt be worse, so I'm hoping to use this weekend as an escape from this and an early escape from the oncoming emotional slaughterhouse.... I'm afraid...

I've noticed more and more latley how much the Navy has changed me. Pictures of me from back home show a, physically, much different girl. Not even so much physically as outward appearance. I've toned down so much lately I don't even really look like my old self. I did this once before for a guy and it took me forever to realize how stupid I was and I thought I'd never do it again. And yet, here I am again, in such a different mindstate that it's scary...

Good news somewhere...I got a short reply email from Malloreigh (I'm beginning to sound like a stalker, Jesus...) and it didn't say much, but it definitely brightened my day. Then I got a random message from an SG fan nearby, telling me I'm cute. So that rawked... and then I met piratederek and that was great because he seems really cool and it'd be awesome to have someone rad in Va when I get there. Random little things to brighten up an overly dreary week. I can't wait to go home and get away from all of this...
