happy birthday to you! i am in paris for mine so had a great breakfast in a little cafe, flowers were delivered to my room from home, my collegues i am travelling with gave me an ipod as a present, i saw the sunset from the eiffel tower and than i had dinner with a friend i met in portugal and haven't seen since then in 1996. all in all a pretty great birthday. hop yours was / is good.

I mentioned the skateshop I worked for and it came up as the last of about 20 entries in google. I was on the second page, but it was how i was "SG-outed." so I feel for you.
I really like thunderstorms and we got some today. We hardly got any here last year so I missed them quite a bit. If I could I would move to somewhere with a monsoon season.
So I some how got suckered into playing out tonight. Should be interesting as I've only practiced twice this whole year and I'm gonna be spinning 90% new records. Hmm.

It's funny I'm pretty much anti all sports but I'm in physical therapy now for a shoulder injury and I actually sort of enjoy the exercise. The Residents gave an album away on Christmas day, I mean Brumalia, called fittingly enough Brumalia. Just like their other albums it's a bizarre unexpected twist in their extensive discography. It's wacky, weird and funny. Between that and the Holger Hiller I just got I actually have some listenable music for awhile.
