Good news!!

I'm a gator wrassler now!!! I think this new career shall be both rewarding and exciting for me. I'm happy about my new life direction.

Let me explain: I went to New Orleans this weekend. New Orleans is my favorite place on earth. But as many times as I've gone before I've never done the touristy stuff. This time I went down with a friend of mine who has a children's book coming out and had to show her face at a book convention. It was her first time there so we did all the touristy things. We went on a steamship on the Mississippi and took a swamp tour, during which time we encountered said gators. And I wrassled one.

Ok. So it was a baby alligator.

And it had its mouth taped shut.

and i just held it.

but it was feisty!!!

so therefore I am a gator wrassler. And for this I expect both admiration and monetary rewards soon. My fame shall soon proceed me as the legend of the man from the north who came down to tame the gators on the bayou spreads.
