So san diego!! Man it was fun....

We kicked GnG out in the morning around 8ish, what a lazy bum!! We left early and stopped in Oceanside at the harbor for breakfast. we love Oceanside harbor so much... its a great atmosphere and has the best fish n chips shop there too. mmmmm...
Anyway after hanging out there for a bit we got back on the road and got to san diego around noon. we searched for a hotel/motel around the Gaslamp Quarter (which is where we were determined to stay) and after driving around and me getting out and going in about 3 different places.......Travel Lodge, Ramada, & Gaslamp suites, and them either being booked or too expensive.. we finally found the Courtyard Marriott was the best place for us. in the heart of downtown no less!!

So we walked and walked and walked around and explored. we walked to the mall, and all around there. where i got the cutest necklace ever. (you can see it in one of the pictures of me down in the pics). aaaand then we got tired so we went to a little cafe called the Cheese Shop. this is me giving the cheese shop a thumbs up!

And then we went off exploring again... we stopped off at some shops, and went to a Hustler. i got a gooooood toy. wow gotta love Hustler. but we got carded before going into the big boys and girls area where you have to be 18. it was weird. Then we went and hit up this mexican cantina for some beer (dave had wine) and chips and salsa. Heres me enjoying that. (and im not vain, dave just never gives up the camera).

AAAaaand then after a few drinks and chat..we wandered off to the hotel to change into our night clothes and put to rest our sunglasses. after changing, we walked around trying to find the perfect bar. we went to a few, a sports bar, a bar called the Bitter End, and an expensive place i forgot the name of. but we left before ordering each time because it just wasnt what we wanted. so we found old faithful, TGI Friday's! i'm sipping coffee.

After about an hour or two there, we head off to walk to the end of downtown to see the huge convention center.

And me again, giving more thumbs up to san diego.

Yeah i played with a couple pics just to make them look better, to stand out more as they were real dark.
So lets see.... the rest just involves debating on spending the rest of the night at the House of Blues or getting our own cheap booze from 7-11 and taking a bath together drunk in our expensive hotel. yes we chose the latter.

Ok guys, thats it. All in all, it was a great time. it was only for one night, next time i want to stay longer. but maybe next time we'll go to a motel 6 or something

btw, the necklace i was gushing about is in the chips n salsa pic if you didnt notice. its two robots in love. can you find a better piece of jewelry? move over Tiffany's! we aint got no room for your boring old hearts and shit here in robot-land!

Its almost September! i can almost say "next month Big Chris will be here!" EEEEEEEeeeee!!
