So last week I call up a friend and ask if he can take me to the airport on Friday morning. I've picked him up from the airport like four times, so I didn't really feel like it was a huge thing to ask of him. He said "Yeah, of course! No problem!" or something to that effect. Thursday night he calls me and says that a mutual friend (Dave) is coming into town and I should come drink with them. I say I can't because I already have plans, and then say, "Ummm, you're not going to get so drunk that you can't take me to the airport in the morning, right?" And he says "Uhhhhhhhh.... yeah, I probably am. But Dave can take you, it's totally no problem." I ask him to actually run this by Dave, instead of just volunteering him, and he says he will. That night I'm heading home at like 1am and I call Dave to verify the plans, which he has, of course, heard nothing about. He's already drunk and is a little surprised that he has to wake up at 7am, but he's totally cool about it. He just tells me to call him at 7 to wake him up.

Friday morning, 7am, my alarm goes off, and I call. No answer. 7:03, no answer. Same thing at 7:10, 7:11, 7:20, and 7:30, when I have to get in my car and drive across town to wake up someone that may or may not be sober enough to take me to the airport. My low fuel light had come on while driving home the night before, which I didn't worry about because I wasn't supposed to have to drive my car across town. I get there at like 7:40, wake him up, and we're good to go. I'm not thrilled about having to leave my car in someone else's parking lot all weekend, but whatever. I made it on time, and that was what counted.

Until today. A different, infinitely more reliable friend picked me up, and drove me to my car. He left, I got in, and it wouldn't fucking start. I haven't been home in three days, and I'm stranded across town with a car that doesn't work. I manage to get him back there, he gives me a jump, and I drive back across town with my low fuel light judging me the whole way.

I get home, and think "Well, I'll just sit here in my room and go online and relax a bit." Only my fucking computer won't turn on. I unplugged and replugged everything, and still nothing. So now I'm on my old, slow, crappy laptop, without my good computer or any music in my room, and I'm really sick of things not working. Although my car works now, so I guess that's only one thing still not working. But still. It sucks, and I have absolutely no clue what to do for my computer. And this was a really long not that interesting journal, so I apologize if you actually read the whole thing.

Wow, that's really disrespectful. It's things like that that lead to my trust issues.
