My mom showed up and surprised me today. It's nice when things happen right when you really need them to. I heard a knock on the door, and when I opened it and saw her there I just burst into tears. She thought I was crazy. But it was really nice to see her.

I just saw The Hills Have Eyes, and it was possibly the most horrifying experience of my life. I may never sleep again. I'll definitely never go into a desert again. My roommate is busy drinking away the memories, but unfortunately I have work early so I don't have that luxury.
