Alright, since I've only be able to access the site recently, I want to catch up on some past @bloghomework topics! I want to try and update this daily on something in my life, or working on other topics! So, today, I want to do 10 Random Facts about me.
10. I went to college for Broadcasting, starting as a Journalism student and then switching to the Television side, and then to the Radio/Audio side. I minored in Visual Journalism, since I have barely any drawing-artistic skills but wanted to be involved in Photography.
9. I can either be the best drunk, or the worst drunk and I'll never know which one I am until after it's too late. I don't like to risk it, so I'd rather just sneak off and get stoned.
8. I don't really get along that well with my family, which sucks. My parents hate tattoos and piercings, and my middle sister is just rude. My oldest sister is my best friend, and she moved to Denver before I moved back to KC from my college town.Both my sisters outage me by 10+ years.
7. My entire family is from a small town in Iowa, and I'm the only one born and raised in Kansas City. Almost Atlanta, but the move was made to the Midwest.
6. I have anxiety and depression, and tend to let things build up in my mind so that I could start crying over the smallest thing that has nothing to do with what's really wrong. It gets real embarrassing and the only way to stop it is to let it run its course.
5. No one believes me when I show them pictures of me from my freshman year of high school, before I started wearing makeup and caring what my hair looked like. The main reason for my vanity is because of all the bullying I went through as a kid.
4. I sold my guitar I didn't have time to learn, and got a ukulele. I still don't know or really have that much time to learn how to play it, but it's Hello Kitty and smaller so I can at least travel with it.
3. I want to travel everywhere, especially with my dog. I've been to Italy and Greece, but want to travel all of Europe. My dream vacation spots are Japan and Australia. The farthest west I've been is to Las Vegas for the National Broadcasters Association conference, but I want to live in California for at least a couple-few years. I've only been to a beach once in my life, and that makes me sad.
2. I drive a blue Chevy Sonic, and I named my Corgi Tails. Yes, I did that purpose.
1. I honestly don't like when people ask me what my dreams are, simply because I have too many. A Libras main quality is being indecisive, and it really is true. My true, main love is in the music field, even though I can't play and instrument or sing. Live music is my favorite environment I've worked in so far, and have often been told I have an ear for detail and have made them "sound the best they have", which always makes me feel good. Sadly, some drama went down at that job and finding a venue needing another sound tech is hard to do in this particular city, which also leads to my California dreams. But, there are other things I'd be perfectly ok with doing for the rest of my life, such as photography, editing videos, recording/mixing/mastering in-studio, being a budtender, or even being a piercer. I'm hoping after the start of my new job, I'll be able to focus on that last one more.
So... yea. (: I'm not sure what blog topic I'll choose tomorrow, but I hope I was able to keep you interested enough to come back and check it out!
