I think I just may have had one of the strangest weeklong stretches in my life.

It all started with my Grandfather dying. We weren't too close but he was my last grandparent. It is a bit of an unusual feeling and just lends itself to contemplating mortality and all of that jazz... Next came the job interview that went well.

A day or so passes and I then get booked for a second interview which is always a good sign. Meeting some of the higher ups and so on. I'm excited yet stressed... I nail it all and get the job which is awesome!... That night, I'm tired, groggy and grumpy... just due to stress and exhaustion. My newish girl and I have a bit of a spat on the phone (Very minor... or so I thought) and I pass out and go to bed. I wake up the next morning to send a nice little message to her and find a full on DUMPAGE waiting for me. Now this hadn't been a long long term thing but generally if you have one tiny fight in about 2 months I figure you are doing pretty well.

So the short story, I'm up a good job, down a Grandfather who I barely knew... and down what I thought was a promising but still young relationship.

I think my head is spinning... but in the end I have something to take away from this whirlwind of insanity.
