well, the second interview went well. now they're checking my references. it all sounds good.
i've been sick the last couple of days, bleh. i got this nasal spray-a generic version of afrin, i think, and it almost made me pass out. i didn't even think about it being an antihistimine and used it without having eaten anything all day, then drank a bunch of...

i have s second interview this friday. i'm feeling pretty confident. even though my current job is sucky, i would be sad to leave. isn't that dumb?
i should be done with my first knitting project by this weekend, especially since i got thanksgiving off and i have no plans.

Hey, an MA in physical anthro! I'm taking a skeletal analysis class next semester that I'm excited about.
Good luck with the interview!
Good luck with the interview!

You coming over this Christmas? I totally don't want to see another thread from a cute girl about not having anything to do during the holidays.
i had a job interview yesterday that seemed to go pretty well.the schedule would be fantastic: 3 days on, 4 days off; 4 days on 3 days off. the pay is just as crummy as my current job, but i think i would be happier.

3 days on 4 off is what i am working for now... as soon as we open for recording, I am hoping to put in 12 hour days 3-4 days per week, then rent the space to my homie Nate, who wants to pay me to work out of my studio... It would be soooo sweet to have that all work out, soooo much better than what I was paid and the hours I worked when I was engineering in SoHo.
4 days off is great, just make sure you have some sort of stuff planned for your days off, cuz I know I get bored quick w/ lots of freetime if I dont have stuff to do, but thats just me...

Whoa! How the hell did I miss this? My hot-girls-talking-about-me sensory perception must be all messed up from being sick. I'll be your long distance lover any day! I'm told I've got a mean phone sex.
yay knitting class!!! i can't believe how freakin' expensive this shit is, but so far i really like it. it's so frustrating though when i screw up. i like having hobbies. it makes me superficially more interesting.

Damn dude, Bridge Petal seems like the place to be for the ass connection. And no, I'm not dying. My asshole club house just ran out of space, so instead of expanding, I figured I'd just clean it out a little. Now I have room for that foos-ball table.
mattasaurus:
apologies. you're right; knitting does have its uses.
ha hem.
my neck is cold.

wow, i really was quite drunk last night. i even puked
. and i swear to god, i only had 3.5 beers. what the hell is wrong with me? how mortifying. i am ashamed.
i semi-successfully poached some eggs this morning. i need a better utensil to retrieve them from the simmering water. who'da thought i'd want poached eggs after a night of puking?

did you at least have fun, puking aside?
jeez... i am so drrumk...
boyfriend is boring.
friends suck.
the only people who will ever truly love you are your parents and they get on your last nerve.
and by you i mean me. it just doesn't sound as pathetic if it's about you.

Yup, yup, yup....this life IS just one big, unrelenting suck-fest. What're ya gonna do, though, right? Come see a matinee with me sometime, that's what!

It's called lowering your standards. It's the only way anyone can maintain some seblance of a happy life without reverting to pure, unadulturated sarcasm.
accomplished:
1. got up before 10:00 (8:30)
2. went to library (obtained card, checked out book)
3. inquired about knitting class (6 weeks, $90+materials, ouch!!)
have not yet taken out trash and recyclcing but there's still time.
as an aside, why don't i ever date well-balanced, successful men? one who's gainfully employed at a job he enjoys, maybe owns his own house, has lots of...

Just because we are drawn to them doesn't mean they are right for us. Like my friend K said when I mentioned your journal: "I'm not dating guys like that because I'm not attracted to those types of guys. I may date jerks, but at least they are interesting jerks."
I've certainly found some "challenging" girls myself.

im not sure, but i do know that i and a lot of my intelligent male friends who have college degrees are not particularly successful in terms of careers and money. i guess its partly a function of the times we live in and partly that we're all a bunch of bums. but we're all still works in progress, too, and i think we will all get there eventually.
resolutions for tomorrow:
1. i WILL get up before 10:00
2. i WILL go to the library
3. i WILL take out the trash and recycling
4. i MIGHT go find out about taking a knitting class
you'd think it wouldn't be so hard to get these things done. it all really depends on #1. i know you'll all be on the edge of your...

those are some good resolutions.
i hope you get everything, even procuring the knitting class info accomlished...
yeah, i changed my screename... i like this one a lot better. i write some cheezy music with this name too... Herpes was a great screename and all, but it was kinda frustrating to see *Herpes* next to everything anytime I am on the site... I was getting frustrated just by looking at it, so i made the switch.
it is soooo rainy here today... i heard it rains a little everyday in portland, my friend Mark used to live there. I like the smell of rain, but right now i need some sunlight...

Bwahahaha. Good luck.
No really, good luck. That wasn't supposed to be sarcastic.
You couldn't tell? Anyhoo, it wasn't sarcastic.
Getting up before 10:00 can be one of the hardest things to do, if you don't have anybody forcing you to do it.
In a perfect world, days start at noon, and end at 4.

so i don't think moving home with mom and dad to pay off my debt is such a swell idea. i'm currently here for my niece's 2nd birthday, and really they just drive me up the wall. i forget about that too easily. i'll have to come up with a new strategy.

you must be a special kind of insane to be making such a move. i LOVE my family, and am in SERIOUS debt, but i would still never consider moving back in. I think i'm gonna have to agree with UnnecessaryZ on this one, it's time you took your life on the run. it's the only option. it's about time i do the same...either that or find a job that would allow me to embezzle some big cash.

because that's what i'll have in may and i'm wondering whether or not to use it as toilet paper or what
