WOW.

I am mostly still in the i don't care zone... meeting her mom was her idea so who knows where her head is.

but she said something really kind to me the other night that I won't soon forget.

She has in the last month really started to do a lot of things for herself that I always thought she needed to do (looking for a place to live away from mom, being more forthcoming in her interactions with me, going to see a counselor) and she said to me that no matter what happens.. it was me who motivated her to want to be a better person.

maybe you had to be there. but it was sincere and beautiful. How can I not at least be friends with her?
