just saw my friend e off to the train station. it was a brief but good visit. we only got to see h's last dragon boat race in which they didn't do so well. had an unfortunate argument with my friend j. tell me, if you knew something bad that your friend would want to know, would you tell them even if you thought it should come from someone else? i think you should. and i certainly don't think you should stand around like an idiot not making eye contact when somebody else accidently blabs it. bleh. friends suck. still. there was definitely a shortage of sailors as well. we saw a few small groups, but they mostly seemed interested in hanging out with each other. e even tried an obvious walk by to see if any of them even looked her way, and none of them even turned an eye. and she's pretty hot too! guess they've been on the boat too long? those uniforms sure are hot though. i don't know what it is.
i've got 3 more days off. i plan on seeing some movies. i was going to see more of the dragon boat races--h has at least one more this morning--but my allergies got so bad yesterday i don't think i want to experience that again.
oh! i forgot to mention the violent femmes! it was a pretty good show. the crowd was an interesting mix. some older lady got escorted out by security for flashing here tits. there were some really young kids crowd surfing and even younger kid on their parents' shoulders rocking out. \m/
next week Switters arrives and i'm excited to see him. i wish i didn't have to work while he was here.
