Came up with a phrase last night as I was falling asleep: "movement fraud." It's the kind of thing that happens in every single action movie in theaters these days -- two people are fighting and their movements are fluid and choreographed to sterile perfection. No one loses their balance, no one has to take a moment to think of their next move, no one throws a punch that doesn't land on its target with the sound of a softball bat hitting a leather pinata. Jason Bourne commits movement fraud. Lara Croft commits movement fraud. And I, savage reader, would love to commit movement fraud, because this world certainly has more than its share of dumb leather pinatas.
