so yeah, my last post in here was totally whiny and crudy.
life seems to be going in a comepletely different direction.
good news that i can say here since no one i know reads this thing except for mindy, maybe. it's sad that i'm not going to have an account much longer. le sigh.
anyways, good news:
i was nominated for the studio excellency award at my school (it equals being valadictorian of your class.)
i was told in private and ultra early by someone on the prospectus committee that my solo show proposal for the urban institute of contemporary arts went through. i will have my first solo exhibit, actually my first official exhibit anywhere, in an internationally known institute of contemporary art. wholly fuck.
me mum started crying when i told her over the phone, i'm pretty sure my dad doesn't fully understand the magnitude of this, but whatev.
so i'm feeling much better about my work and a whole hell of a lot more confident.
so that's the news here. oh and i met this uber cute girl a few weekends ago and she's coming to stay for the weekend from rochester hills on the other side of the state.
now back to paint.
oh and my new fav. suicide girl is kade and everyone should check her out. hottness.
