Yesterday I:
Came clean with my parents about my depression. Turns out, when I told my shrink that there wasn't a history of depression in my family, I was sorely mistaken. My mother has been, as she put it "on every medication you can name." They were very supportive, and it's actually helpful to not feel like a freak anymore.

Ok, I admit I don't know much about how computers work and even less about how the web works, but if I did this right you should be able to see the new Joe Strummer video by clicking here.
You'll need Real Player to make it work.
Know your rights.
RIP Joe.

The only thing worse than Monday?
The Monday after a holiday.

I'm cold and there are wolves after me...
I went down to Meltdown Comics yesterday. I was a man on a mission. I needed (ok maybe "needed" is too strong a word) to pick up some new action figures. The latest wave of Alex Ross' "Kingdom Come" figures came out, and the latest McFarlane toy from their "Matrix" line came out -- Mifune in his badass A.P.U walker. Now, yeah, the last two...

Normally I don't get homesick, but Thanksgiving is always an exception to that rule.
Thankfully, I'll be going home in about 3 weeks for Christmas vacation.

Saw Hot Water Music last night.
Amazing show.
Somehow, I managed to get up front. I have huge black and blues on my legs from being pressed up against the stage all night.
For their encore they did their cover of "True Believers" by the Bouncing Souls. I got up on stage and sang with them, and stage dived/crowd surfed for the first time in...

Sounds cool.
You may be one of the coolest people i've discovered on here yet. You like Preacher, HWM, the bouncing Souls, and you watch (some) good movies over and over.
Your most humbling moment sounds absolutely fucking hilarious. I love that guy.

Not much to say tonight.
"Angel" was fucking phenominal, as has every episode this season thus far. That ending! Holy crap! I love a good twist ending.
I'm seeing Hot Water Music on Friday. I've only seen them on the Warped Tour before, so I'm quite looking forward to seeing them headlining in a small club.
In Halo news, I managed to come in second...

I'm tired of being the guy that gets killed the quickest when we have our day ending 4-man Halo match. I'm getting better though, each time I play I have more and more kills. One day, I'll show them all. One day I'll win that game, mark my words. Then we'll see who's laughing. Me. That's who. Because I'll have won. And the laugh will...
