Went to the doctor today. Turns out, I DO have a broken hand. I broke two of the metacarpal bones (#'s 11 and 12 below) in my left hand when I fell. I saw the x-ray. It was neat.
It'll take 6-12 weeks to heal. I got a nifty wrist/hand splint to wear, and a prescription for vicodin, the first of which I just took. I am now looking forward to my first pain free night since Friday.

Did you slid down the stairs infront on anyone to put on a show or just a show for yourself. I slid down stairs once on a school trip to an Imax theater and lost my balance and fell backwards... the drop was about 10 feet and a bid football player caught me by my legs and slid me diown the rest of the stairs... my shirt fell up and my younger brother was on the school trip too. He was so embarassed of em he didn't talk to me for days. It was also caught on video. I haven't tried sliding down stairs since I was 16... You shouldn't ever agian either. I hope you heal well my friend and hopefully you can still type? hang in there. *kisses*
