Sometimes, I get a little bit carried away with myself when I'm debating on the Current Events board.

However, this (the last comment of mine on that page, posted at 4-something this morning) may have been the most thoroughly satisfying 2 hours I've ever spent writing a single response on that board.

Some people just don't know when to quit. biggrin

Downtown LA at midnight will forever remind me of server maintenance at our colocation facility.

Not that that's a bad thing really. We've got one of the coolest colo facilities outside of the DoD, and they've got tasty, free coffee and really nice workspaces so I can comfortably play around on SG while Shalome rebuilds and upgrades the kernel on one of our servers.

I woke up today with a brutal headache. It felt almost like a nasty hangover, only I didn't drink anything last night. It was odd. Anyhow, that kept me bedridden until 1:30. Now I've got that weird post-headache uneasiness in my head and I have to pull myself together and get to work. Bleh.

Burnout sucks balls. At least you've got good things to look forward to and a cute broad to ease the strain. As for your hostage video card, the bastards at Blizzard ruined it for me about two weeks ago with their latest patch. Enabled some weird thing which made the program crash every time I entered a building. Very frustrating. It'll play with my 16mb card, but that is unbearably awful.

Thank god I am now gainfully employed. I put in the G5 order this morning. Would you feel ok with a return of the card and $20? If'n it don't work or something, I'll gladly pay you for the whole thing.
