I saw XMen 2 tonight (and yes, I know it's actually called X2, but that just doesn't sound right somehow, so I'm going to continue calling it XMen 2), and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. I mean, I knew it wasn't going to be some character-driven art piece exploring the complex relationships between mutants and humans, humans and humans, and mutants and mutants (though it would be kind of interesting to see someone do a straight drama with action movie characters)...but I was disappointed only because someone involved with the film thought so little of the audience that they felt it necessary to keep tossing in little hints like breadcrumbs for really simple parts of the plot. "Hey, just in case you forgot, this scene isn't really happening, it's just a hallucination." Uh, yeah, of course it is, we just watched the guy start hallucinating a second ago. ...Grr.

But overall it was neat. I wouldn't say it's good, but then, I wasn't expecting it to be good. I was expecting it to be neat.

I'm not looking forward to The Hulk...except when it comes out for rent. My wife and I have decided that it is going to make for an excellent drinking game: take a shot every time the guy turns green.

Foo...I should really be doing my homework. Last project of the semester and I've got revised roughs due monday morning and no revisions done.
