In other news:
- our next SGLA dinner is going to have 20+ people attending.
- There's a Hurricane inching across the Yucatan peninsula. Our forecast for the next 5 days: 68/62 68/62 68/62 68/63 68/60 and clear across the board, though I'm not sure I trust that, as it seems like it might get a tiny bit more humid and we might get some funky tropical clouds.
- Ruby on Rails is the shit. It took me about 5 minutes last night to configure and build an account sign-up/login/authentication system for a site I'm working on using Rails.
- Only ever so slightly less the shit than Rails is Lego Star Wars. Finally, a good game with good two-player action. I love video games, but it's nice to be able to make it a social activity.
- Shalome and I watched Super Troopers the other night. It was fucking hilarious. It looked really, really stupid, and I avoided watching it for a long time, but Shal convinced me. Her way of convincing me: "You should watch it, it's really good." I'm easy for her. In any case, I really enjoyed it.
