Eek.

I have a meeting in a couple hours with a prospective client. We've been doing pretty well for the last several months, getting new work from existing clients, but this is the first totally new potentially big client. It could be a really big, fairly lucrative project too since, when I first spoke with him, he basically looked at our biggest, most successful, most feature-rich project to date and said, "I want that."

I know he's familiar with our capabilities, and I know he has the cash to drop on the project, because it's part of a concurrent retail store opening he's doing right now. Still, I'm nervous as fuck. I hate doing the pitch thing.

UPDATE!
The meeting went fabulous. It sounds like all the paperwork that we need to get a project going is just going to be a formality, so I can focus less on the pitch and more on the planning, which is always nice.

I think we may be busy through March at this point...with paying work, even. Assuming, of course, that this guy isn't just blowing smoke. Nothing's final yet, of course, but I've got a really good feeling about this one.
