Life is awesome right now, it's just hard work keeping it that way, and I miss my friends, too. I wish I could get out as much as I used to.

Tonight, Shalome and I trekked out to Santa Monica and bought some five foot long wind chimes at a shop that sells spiritual books, buddhist statues, incense, etc. They make beautiful deep tones, and we bought them as a present for my Mom, who we're driving out to visit on Sunday. We walked down onto the pier and stared out at the water. It was cool and overcast, and there was a salty breeze coming off the ocean.

Today was a hectic day. I had a lot of work to do, and didn't eat anything until almost 7pm as a result. The trip to Santa Monica was a fantastic change of pace from that.
