I'm exhausted.

I've been managing to find a bit of free time here and there for surprise birthday parties and a drink here and there, and a fantastic trip to crystal cove state park with shalome to see the tide pools during low tide.

I've also been going through a board-posting phase. I've posted a couple stories to the news wire (which I rarely do) and have been posting a lot on the CE boards. But don't worry, I'm still here, and I still love all my friends. I just go through phases...groups, boards, journals...I tend to focus on one at a time.

Work is still busy, but most of what I've been doing has been insane management-type shit, rather than the design and development part I really enjoy. That should hopefully change soon, as we may get a giant project for an Indian resort & casino (it's looking good after our salesperson met with their execs today).

This weekend we're going out to see my niece play baseball, and she's asked that my brother and I teach her to play soccer. She's adorable. I can't wait.
