Well. 2003 was a year of extremes. Fantastic highs, tremendous lows. I've said that before, I know, but it pretty much built up to a climax of extremes...ever-greater highs, ever more painful lows.
I've got a whole year-in-review thing cooking in my head, but I'll save that to post when I've got more time.
On the last day of the year, three things happened:
My dad died
I can't say whether I'm dealing with this well or not. I'm not really dealing with it at all yet. But I knew it was coming, and in a way, I'm glad it happened yesterday, so that I can truly start 2004 anew.
I got a new roommate
Okay, this actually happened the day before, but it's the happiest thing that's happened in awhile, so it goes in here.
The New Year's Party
Wow. What a way to say FUCK YOU 2003. It was the first new year's in a long time that I actually got new year's kisses. There was nudity. There was decadence. There was debauchery. It was lots of fun.
So yeah, I'm sure you can see what I'm talking about with the thing about the year of extremes. I don't know how to feel, so I'm just kind of rolling with whatever emotions I'm feeling at the moment.
Ok, I'm about to watch Underworld at Trilo's place, gotta go.
