So, as some of you already know, I no longer work for SG. There's no hard feelings or ill will at all, so don't be looking for any spectacular flame out or anything. They've generously let me keep my staff account, so I'll still be posting in green, I'm just not the person to come to with bug reports anymore, and I won't be taking such an active role in moderation (more like a normal moderator than a staff moderator). I figured I should go ahead and post so that there weren't any rumors going around, since a bunch of people know already.

Unfortunately, most of my savings was wiped out when Shalome broke her ankle last September, so this means we really have to cut our spending to a minimum. So I won't be coming out as much or organizing activities with SGLA, unless they're free and near my house, but SGLA has been really great about organizing things themselves for awhile now, so I don't expect there to be any significant impact on the group. With any luck, I'll have a job again soon. The market out here for experienced web developers is still pretty good, so I'm not expecting to be out of work for an extended period of time.

In the meantime, I've got more free time now, so hopefully I get to see my friends more, even though I don't have the funds to do much. If anyone I know wants to do something cheap, let me know.
