What a crazy week. I came this close to getting my eyebrows pierced monday night, but now I'm glad I didn't because it would appear that I'm broke. I damn well better get paid on time this week or I'm gonna whoop some ass, since that would mean I have $2 for dinner tonight.
I missed most of the burlesque show also monday night, and that kinda sucked, but I was doing a favor for a friend, so it's cool. I still got to go up there and see everyone, and even though I didn't get to say hi to everyone I wanted to, it was fun.
Went out to dinner with Wendi and saw Pirates of the Caribbean again on Wednesday night. It was nice to see her again, and we managed to stay off the subjects that contributed to our splitting up. It's nice to be able to hang out as friends and avoid drama.
Last night I lost $8 playing poker. Texas Hold-em, to be specific. I wasn't quite familiar with the game, and only won one hand playing with nickel and dime chips. Bah. I should probably keep better track of my money, as I wouldn't have dropped $8 on poker if I knew I was out of cash. As if that weren't bad enough, because I was there losing at poker, I missed a call from someone I was really wanting to talk to. Foo!
Tonight, drinks, dinner, and crappygood movies with Koleeta, Derby, Joss & Jeremy, and the rest of the SGLA peeps in the South Bay. Should be loads of fun. Whee!
