Shalome and I spent Christmas Eve watching March of the Penguins, drinking warm Soy Nog with Brandy, and occasionally stepping outside to enjoy the misty night. It was a gorgeous night.

Tonight, we'll be having Christmas DInner with friends. Yesterday, my Mom informed me that she wouldn't be working on Christmas after all (she's retired, but she takes care of an elderly man on weekends, and he's currently in the hospital). So I invited her to have dinner with us, which should be nice, considering my Brother's family-in-law are the reasons I generally don't spend holidays with my family. My mom rocks.
