Well, I'm back. I know that none of you probably realised I was gone, but it seems like a long time since I visited SG Land.
First of all thanks to everybody who wished me a happy birthday, it was one of the best ever! Just hung out with friends and saw a couple of bands but it was pretty special nonetheless.
Went to a party on the weekend (a friend's 21st) and one of the presents he got was a guitar signed by all the members of Tool (my favouritest band ever!) I am soooo jealous! But I did get to hold it and actually RUN MY FINGERS ALONG THE STRINGS! *swoon*
Currently listening to "With Teeth" and can't seem to stop. When I get in the car, I take it with me. When I get out of the car, I take it with me. When I'm not near a stereo of any kind, I listen to it on my iPod. This may be due to the fact that it took me so damn long to get it. I rolled up to my local record store and politely asked for a copy. The young man behind the counter smilingly obliged and then proceeded to put "Things Falling Apart" in the case instead of the disk that I have been desperately waiting on for the last five months or so. Because I didn't want to give it some half assed listen in the car I waited until I got home to listen to it. It was only then that I realised the young man's mistake. After I had stopped swearing I tried calling the record store. Closed. The next day we had one of our marathon staff meetings at work and I couldn't get to the store in time. Anyway, I have it now and all's well that ends well.... Just a quick note on Things Falling Apart, I love Nine Inch Nails as much as the next girl, but I really don't have room in my life for four Starfuckers remixes, thanks all the same.
Got my Splendour in the Grass ticket on Monday, thanks to my gorgeous Bella and her equally gorgeous credit card. Just as well, as they sold out yesterday.
I'm fairly certain that this is my longest journal entry ever and actually contains very little information. Sorry.
