Things I am excited about...
1. Other people's birthdays. My girlfriend Em's birthday today. My girlfriend Bindy's birthday on Saturday. We are staying in a fancy-ish hotel in the city and going to see a great Oz band, Fort from Byron Bay, then probably drinking too much and falling down.
2. My birthday. My birthday is next Saturday. I already have a totally kick ass pair of boots lined up from my mum and my boy has promised that his present is awesome also. We are going to see another band that night, local boys this time, Bobsledge. If it sounds like I am a total concert slut, it's because I am (but not in an icky groupie way, unless it's Trent Reznor asking).
3. This Sunday. BBQ at boy's house. He has a massive family and it always makes me happy to be a part of it. My family is pretty much my mum, my brother and me so it makes a nice change to be in the midst of such happy chaos.
4. With Teeth. May 3rd. So close I can almost touch it. So close I can almost hear it.
5. Queens of the Stone Age playing at Splendour in the Grass. Massive road trip to Byron Bay. Camping with friends. Hanging out and listening to one of my favourite bands. Eye molesting Troy van Leeuwen. Yes I have a thing for guys in suits. No I am not currently seeking any help for it. I realise that this event is quite a while away but I'm just THAT excited.

yeah i had a great time at cog it was the 5th time i have seen them and after listening to them live i reckon new normal sounds soo much better
