Well I am a dumb boy. Friday I had a friend coming down to visit. A plutonic female friend and because my roomie had his kids this weekend she had to stay in my bed. no big deal, we have done dozens of times. so i was getting my room all nice and clean, hiding the porn and throwing the dirty clothes into one big pile. i also decided to wash the sheets, i think it is a good gesture when i have company about to sleep there. anyways, i decided i need a new thick blanket, which i later learned is called a comforter. so i went to JC Penny's, my friends wife works there so i thought i would get a discount. but of course she was off that day, and that was when i realized that i have no idea about these linen things. so i did what every guy does, i called the girls i knew to get help. and the only one to answer was my ex-girlfriend. so i had her walk me through the whole process. i tried to ask a cute girl working for help, but of course i couldn't find any. i had all these questions like what is a thread count, what is an egyptian cotton, is jersey material good, what do girls like on beds? so i ended up getting 300 thread count egyptian cotton in some red color. accoridng to her it would make a good impression, i don't know i am just a dumb boy, but it does look nice. and it is comfy. i also bought "Lords of Dogtown" an awesome movie with an incredible soundtrack. also "A Life less Ordinary" another good movie. um do girls get more interested in guys who walk around with a girl? best friend and i were walking around the mall and i noticed more girls looking at me. or maybe they were just busting me looking at them. oh well, it is time for a football bbq, seattle already lost and i think pittsburg has a bye, and tomorrow is my beloved packers. so i will watch whatever is on and drink beer and burp cause i bought sheets this weekend and i need some masculine thing to do.
