I hung out with my friend Great Girl and her boyfriend last night. I had to tellthe bf all about the goods and bads of the navy. He is thinking about joining and he only trusts me, seeing how i got out 3 months ago, to give him a clear and neutral picture of the service. Personally I would never tell anyone not to join the service, I never know who will be the next Admrial or the next dishonorable discharge. Great Girl wasn't to happy that I refused to make a horrible picture of it, obviously she doesn't want him to go. and from talking to him i know he won't, he is more of fasinated with the wonders of submarines than a deep urge to serve his country. but him and i played PBR poker. for those of you who don't know what that is, Pabst Blue Ribbon bottle have card symbols on the inside of the bottle caps, so drink as much as you can and make the best 5 card poker hand that you can. So the more you drink the more options you have, but the more you drink the less likely you are to recognize a good hand. I got a flush while bf only had a pair of 6's. then he had to be a light weight and go to bed. then great girl told me that like every other time we drink together, her and i, she has this nearly uncontrolable urge to kiss me or at the least flirt. so i had to put her in check about our friendship being more important than breaking up her and her boyfriend for one night of drunken fun that might lead to more or might lead to ruins.

oh i finally watched the new Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. It is obviously much better special effects and sets than that BBC crap they put out 15 or so years ago. Man i hate the BBC. but they changed the story a bunch from what i remember and i think they did a poor job of combining all 5 books into one. after i finish the 3 books i am reading now, i am gonna reread the series to refresh myself. well it is time to climb into my new red satin sheets and watch lost in translation, another movie i am JUST getting to. anyone wanna join, bring the beer and you got a reserved seat.
