I hope everyone is having a merry christmas. i personally don't like this holiday. I don't believe in christianity, I don't have any family around, my family said they MIGHT send a card this year, I am sick of seeing greedy ass kids be rude and disrespectful cause they want presents more than anything, i am bored cause evryone but me has family to be with (even my roommate has kids to go hang out with). I guess cause of my time in the navy, i came to realize the only difference between the holidays is the color of frosting on the cake. That goes for all holidays: easter, thanksgiving, st. patty's day, birthdays. everyone makes a big deal about each one, but you know what...it is just another day. which i promise will come again next year, and the year after, and ten years from now, and long after you are dead. these days will just keep coming. people will forget christ and his birthday as we have forgotten religions in the past. a new religion will takes its place, and new traditions will start. holidays are nothing but the fad of an era. i wonder how many days we think are just normal were once as big as easter or the chinese new year. i am going to the bar.
