Well shit. I really wanted to leave the pictures up for a couple more days so anyone that missed them could see - but stuff has happened I deem worth to post about... So if you want to see my pictures from the Horrorpops just go to my previous entry, or be patient until I upload them into my pic section.

Anyway.

The past couple days have been interesting. My sleeping patterns are fucking out of control. It has gone even beyond backwards now. I woke up at 10:30 on Tuesday morning, and by that night I wasn't tired. I layed around reading and watching movies, trying to sleep but I didn't so much as blink. The sun comes up and I have plans involving 3 other people at noon that I can't get out of without being a dick. So I went to a Walgreens and got just some generic no-doz stuff... they're all the same, with 200mg of caffiene. It says about equal to 2 cups of coffee. So I take one of those, make it through the day and into the night. I feel like a zombie after being awake for about 36 hours and I crash on my bed to sleep a grand total of... about 3 uncomfortable 30 minute naps.

I don't know what the hell is going on and I don't know why I can't sleep... But I feel like I'm going to have some sort of breakdown. I'm sure some of you have had nights you had to stay awake, everyone I tell has a story to let me know how easy I got it. Well I'm not interested in hearing about that because I just know I'm losing it. Why is sleeping so difficult for me? For most people it's relaxing and enjoyable. For me it's just the horrible period between daylight.

This is really my only way to get stuff off my chest, and sleep has been the biggest topic I've posted on I think. God does anyone have any suggestions? I'm about to admit defeat.

God, I know -- insomnia can be AGONY! If possible, I would avoid coffee or taking anything for a while, which will perhaps allow your body to get back to its natural rhythms. Exercising like crazy helps me when I go through periods of insomnia. That and a few nights of hard drinking, which I'm certainly not suggesting you do. wink

May Mr. Sandman pay you a visit soon. smile

Indeed insomnia is the quiet monster. I can relate, my problem is I don't want to sleep because I'll miss something, yeah, don't ask...*giggle* My only suggestion, limit your caffeine intake. If it persists, you may want to see a doctor...no sleep can affect every part of your life, and it's never good to go for long periods of time getting little or no sleep.

Good luck to you, and have a great weekend! Hope you get some sleep!
