I shouldn't post when I'm at work, because inevitably someone does something stupid here and it makes me angry and I have to talk about it because I'm the only one working right now and need to vent.
This cute girl came in here a few days ago asking if she could do a photo shoot on the premises, which is not unusual because the place is pretty unique. So I say yeah, sure, just don't bring a bunch of equipment or bug any customers.
So around 12:30PM this afternoon she comes in, reintroduces herself, and says she's going to do the shoot. I reiterate the warnings and say have fun, and go back to my game of Tempest. Ten minutes later a guy walks in to sell us some old Atari 2600 games. As he's leaving, he says "So, do you always let people make out on the games?" To which I obviously respond "What the fuck are you talking about?"
I walk over to the Pacman aisle, and there's a girl sitting ON TOP OF PACMAN, MAKING OUT WITH A GUY PRESSED BETWEEN HER LEGS. Now, I like making out with girls as much as the next guy, but NOBODY SITS ON MY FUCKING GAMES, AND NOBODY MAKES A CHUMP OUT OF ME OR MY TRUST. The photographer sees me and get's this guilty look, like she knows she's been caught. I tell her that this is not cool, and to leave right now. The other three people leave right away because they feel like shitheads and I'm good at making people feel unwelcome as I have to deal with assholes all the time here. So I stand there next to the photographer as she gathers her gear up, because I want her to feel like an idiot.
Suddenly she says "You know, I'm leaving. You don't have to stand there."
"So when I said 'don't bother our customers,' did you think people making out on our games didn't qualify? Did you think that I'd be cool with this?"
"Well, you didn't ask if we were going to do THIS!"
"DO I LOOK LIKE AN ASSHOLE, OR ARE YOU JUST GOING TO TREAT ME LIKE ONE? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE AND DON'T EVER COME BACK."
"Don't worry, I won't!"
"THANK GOD FOR THAT."
GOD FUCKING DAMMIT, I WANT TO MURDER A BITCH. This is why I don't do favors for anyone here; they all take advantage of niceness. Fuckers. I like letting people photograph this place; someone even did an SG shoot here once (in the morning before we openned, obviously). But fuck that from now on.
