it's getting chilly again. my mom and young teen cousin are visiting from south carolina; the weather must be a disappointment, but hey. they went to san simeon last night. i'm jealous.

i have been hiding in my cave lately. i leave the house for very brief periods, to get coffee at the corner store or to eat lunch/dinner at one of the neighborhood joints. going out is too much of a hassle. i haven't been to the office yet this week. drinking is boring. rock shows are rarely worth the effort anymore.

clearly i need to start exercising again. i was mr. outdoors for a month or so, but then life got busy, and gym visits are the first items to be dropped from the schedule. gotta fix that. time for monster workouts. HUGENESS!

also on a positive note- comcast is finally rolling out the rebuilt cable package, so on july 8, after a long wait and lots of grumping, i will once again have cartoon network!
