Am I really as busy as I feel, or is my brain just running on dial-up? I miss seeing humans that are not trapped inside my computer screen.
Well, it's midterms and I am in the midst of planning this major city-wide audition and working at the paper and...well, you get the idea.
Here's the down and dirty update:

I had a lovely time at the *ahem* party I went to (see post below) but I was to chicken to try anything new. So, no flogging to be had.

I agreed to collaborate on a book about snuggling and human contact.

I found out that I am going to LA in March for a journalism conference.

Scheduled another photo session (for tonight) with same photographer that is featured in a previous post.

Inexplicably lost 11 pounds!

Found out that a big crush has just broken up with his girlfriend

Realized today that I have not had chocolate in 2 weeks (might have something to do with the 11 pounds)

Oh, and a weird thing happened on Saturday night.

I went to Berbati's with my friend Tazer and this (very drunk) guy kept asking us to dance. We said no, mainly because we were really engaged in conversation and were not paying attention to anyone else. He asked us 5 times before Tazer yells, "We DON'T want to dance, OK?" To which the guy says "Jesus, should I go home and kill myself?" From anyone else, this might have seemed smart-assed, but this guy seemed genuinely hurt. Tazer said, "we just want to continue our conversation, okay?"
The guy turned back to his buddy and then more than 10 minutes later, he stands up real suddenly and leans over Tazer and me. He points his finger in her face and shouts, "Who do you think you are??" And then he spit on her face. Twice.
I stood up and shoved him back, mostly because he was right on top of me and he suprised me and then he went and hid in the corner on the opposite end of the bar. He literally went and put himself in the corner face first. It was the weirdest thing ever. Tazer got him ejected from the bar and they kindly gave her a rag to wipe the lougie off her face and dress. Then, I bought her Voodoo doughnuts to take the ick factor away. Weird, huh?
