So I decided to take my holiday pay for my birthday a little early, so I didn't go into work today.
What do I plan on doing?
Well... Tom and I went to Wal-Mart last night where he bought a socket wrench set, and I bought a DELIGHTFUL set of craft brushes. (maybe I'll take a picture or something).
The socket wrench was to remove a TV from a TV cart that he's buying as surplus from the school district he works for. (27" ya'll!) So finally... I'm going to have a TV in my bedroom and it will be that much more of a cave for me to never leave. I haven't decided if I'm putting the 27" tube in my bedroom with just basic cable, or if I want to be selfish and leave it downstairs so that I can I have my 27" Wide screen LCD HDTV upstairs with my DVR and HBO. Decisions Decisions. Either way, I'm going to be rearranging furniture all day to make sure that I get the perfect blend of boudoir, office, and kick-ass tv/wii area. Hoorah for master SUITES!
The paint brushes are going to be used touching up the various different paint colors on the walls in my house. I really am pretty obsessive over perfection and tape never makes things straight enough.
And if I have a little extra time? (I'm pretty sure I wont). I'm either going to vacuum out the inside of my car (it's going to rain tomorrow or else I'd wash it) or start on preparing my window treatments to sew for the living room and upstairs landing.
Oh how I love my life.
