fuck I know what you mean about christmas, it's a real killer. but you know, even though those idiots cashed yr check anyway and its fuckin up yr other checks you wrote, i think it is a blessing in disguise, because trust me, you DO NOT want to be in collections. I was in debt like five grand for about three years (which started like when I was a year younger than you) and it was fucking HELL!! plus it takes so long to try and improve yr credit again which screws you over down the line for other opportunities. People always warned me that credit cards and being young DON'T mix but I learned the hard way, PLEASE don't do the same thing.
I know it sucks 'cos i've been there so i hope it starts to look up again for you in that department soon!
