Well it is Boxing day (a holiday I know absolutely nothing about) but it affords me the opportunity to quote a little Mohamed Ali (and some tank girl again "I'M SO PRETTY - pa pa pa pow!"

be_elzebe and I flew 'home' to spend Xmoose with my dad and my mother was able to show up as well (she 'accidentally' moved to Afganistan for three years... its... complicated). So we were all one big happy family. There is snow here which is different than the surrounding Bean Town area currently. I met an interesting young lady at the bar in the airport. We chatted and talked and shared a pizza and drank some liquor and I found out she lives in the Back Bay and works a reverse commute, her name was Suzane, and we both went our separate ways. and I didn't ask her for an email address or a phone number. CRAVEN FOOL i'm like the lion in The Wizard of Oz sometimes... It works out in my favor though because I got a mawage proposal (its wot brings us together today) waiting for me from a hottie boo botty girl from SG when I logged in.

We hit Frank's Diner- which is hands down one of the best diners EVAR. with yumminess in the form of too much food (but isn't that what the holidays is all about?)

Mom showed her love by cooking for us non-stop. (and using pinoy code words to tell us we were a little fat) - mixed messages much? and there was a near constant red wine buzz as we just sipped slowly over a long period of time.

Me and Be's big plan was to go get the Twin Peaks sound score, grab a snow man, and take him on a pilgrimage to some Twin Peaks things that were rumored to be near Spokane. and thanks to the interconnected tubes with hamsters that make up the interwebs, we found out that 'near Spokane' actually meant closer to near Seattle... and dad was worried about the mountain passes being frozen over, and we decided that a melting snowman in the back seat might very well make us not welcome in our parents home ever again and we were lazy and since I had gotten my mom Season 1 of Alias (see above comments about her living abroad for the connection), and so.... instead (man proper grammar is for wusses)... we binged on Alias on xmoose day (instead of a day trip through the mountains to take pictures of a snow man while in front of different Twin Peaks locations).

I got to play Jurassic park mad scientist and BUILD MY OWN STEGOSAURUS. (best present evar) Did you know that they had wind-up components as part of their genetic structure? That might explain why T-Rex didn't eat them too often (that and the bony plates of ass kicking protection that made up their spine).
