Got a date for next Friday! (mostly... ! The details aren't ironed out like her saying yes but she did mention she was free that weekend and we should get together so... Here's to POSITIVE thinking!)
We're not going down the water slides (the idea was posited as a possibility)
- it's a might cold in Massachusetts and I don't' think any of those parks are actually open right now. We'll probably end up doing din-din and drinks and skating on Frog Pond in the commons. and on the Friday Susan will be 'scouting' another 'friend of a friend' who people have said I should get together with... Oh the espionage and intrigue! Susan's also supposed to be brokering an email from a former roommate for me(she's a lawyer but she may be too 'prudish and boring' for me (not my words)- but we seemed to get along just fine the couple of short interactions we've had so we'll see- and an email doesn't mean a date and that doesn't mean mawage). It is great to have friends who think you're great and won't settle for you dating someone they think is beneath you.. (did I say great? maybe it is weird, like I can't make up my own mind! wait but I can't. And I haven't had much luck in this game called love so I'll let my friends fly wingman for me) I'll take my sisters logic and pop on down to the corner store and pick me up a sixpack of girlysex....
For you long time subscribers, Susan was the hostess of the Halloween party where my crush on the Greek girl (who called me nice and interesting as I go all tee hee hee - like a school girl) came from. Susan will be having a dinner party where we are both invited upon the Greek girl's return from Sweden at the end of the month. (yeah 2 month long crushes where one party is out of the country and unaware CAN never cause problems ... I promise)
My visits to the gym have paid off. I'm getting some nice shoulder and lat definition and gettings some good ab work in as well (too much chub to see that just yet but boy can I FEEL it (ow/whimper/ow) and some arm definition . I'm also losing weight and body fat percentage.
Friday: Company Holiday Party
Saturday: all day long, all day strong, geek session with the boys along with brunch and dinner
Sunday: manual transmission driving lessons and Crazy Taxi -yeah yeah yeah yeah YEAH
Friday: possible date
Saturday: Tokyo Drift movie night, involving Tokyo Drift, sushi, saki, Mario Kart, and friends (and hopefully a report from Scout Susan)
Sunday: drive to Ohio (psych !) I have no idea what's in the works
