I really have a huge soft spot for Senator Kerry, which I have to hide by framing my protests in wordy and intellectual-sounding criticisms of the overall state of things, instead of just saying, "Hey, you shut up! I like him!"
A good all-night place is a precious thing indeed. Perkins isn't the best, of course, but it's there--and after college in a small town, where not a damn thing was open past 9:00, I'll take what I can get.
