Hey there honey. Just thought I'd let you know, I'm almost finished with the book you sent me.... I'd be done with it already, were it not so bloody sad. It's an amazing book. And I HIGHLY recommend it, but it deals with 9/11 through the eyes of a nine year old boy, and it's a little tough to take.... espicially for those of us who were there, and who think of NYC as our home. Last night I dealt with a very difficult chapter in which the boy - who's very much like the Holden Caulfield character in "Catcher in the Rye", is imagining his father's last few minutes at Windows on the World... I started to cry uncontrollably. Images of the Financial Distract racing thru my mind.
ANYWAY, enough of that.....
I hope you went surfing. I miss it like mad. What kind of board do you surf?
