Is it just me or does Christmas kinda suck. There is very few things I want that my family (or me for that matter) can afford and I don't have millions of dollars to make all my dreams come true. The only joy I get is from giving gifts to my niece and thats because she is the only one who doesn't know what she is getting. Christmas for me has gone from getting a surprising gift to getting practical ones....yes underwear and socks are a good gift for me. Plus when the holidays roll around I never have time to do anything because I'm working all the time...this last time was 19 days in a row.....it sucks working every holiday but I sell food....what else am I going to do. Oh well deep thoughts from Baughn....or not so deep thoughts. But one thing I have figured out about Christmas....it IS better to give than receive....I wish I was able to give more....maybe I would feel more human....the most joy I got from this Christmas was giving my sister and my niece a warm place to sleep (her power was out and had no heat) and a nice Christmas dinner.
