* there's nothing greater than realising that that self-destructive streak you thought you'd overcome has really just manifested itself in other aspects of your life... before i could just chalk it up to an "adventurous" nature until i discovered i was flunking my freshman year, along with a myriad of other stupid bullshit i've done. and when all of it seemed gone and i was done with it, it's popped up in the most ridiculous way and i can't control it. and it's so totally dumb.
* in other news, i'm going to be a bridesmaid for my friend amber
i've never been in a wedding before. i've known amber since i was 16, and her fiance alex since i was 17. when i met him at the library i worked at (w/ amber), all the girls (me included) were madly in crush with him. so it's weird that amber's marrying a guy that i had a mad crush on, and she totally knows it and he knows it too (b/c the bitch told him 
). wedding next summer, just before her 30th bday. she just barely made it. 
* i saw Carandiru in my human rights class this week. *shudder* i highly recommend watching it. it's not your typical prison movie to say the least, and it's terrifying to think that people can be treated that way, no matter who they are or what they've done.
* Dirty Pretty Things. audrey tautou. mildly upsetting. also watched for human rights class. go see it too.
* i skipped econ and american govt class all three days this week. i just didn't feel like going. i guess it's the end of quarter blahs. i'm sure i'll regret it come test time.
* no class or work next monday (huzzah!), four days of classes, and then finals june 8th and 9th. summer class starts the 13th. fuck me.
* loan money comes soon. new tattoo? i still want stars down my side, but weight must be lost before that happens. so who knows.
