I'd like to just start out by saying that I am absolutely in LOVE with this woman:



Yum.
I keep thinking she would be excellent for SG, but I think it's really just because I want to see her naked.

Anyway...

So Wednesday night, Lucas and I rented Sideways.

We both really enjoyed it, though a nice Pinot Noir (but no Merlot!) would've been more appropriate a drink then our Miller High Life I suppose.

So yesterday I bought:






And I got

today and a 128 MB memory card for my camera for $10 FREAKING BUCKS!

But the best part of my week... I finally got a credit card again. Store credit, but credit nonetheless. After having destroyed credit before through a string of events that were partially my fault but mostly my mom's. And the bestest part? I have car insurance again. For me AND my parents. We haven't had it since August of 2003, because my parents couldn't afford it anymore. So I bought a new policy this week in my name with my money that'll go on my credit report to cover my parents and me. It's the bare minimum, because my parents and I have shit cars and they're required (by me) to pay half monthly. They better not screw me.

Lucas is proud of me that I'm finally a grown up with insurance. And I have a savings account again for the first time since I was like 8 (when my mother took all my money because they were having money problems), and now a credit card, and car insurance, and still a fair amount of money left in my checking. Now I just need a new job, a newish car, finish school and get into grad school. Stuff is coming together...
