What a night. I love the Springfield.
My friend Ryan had his housewarming party last night. When I got there his parents, some of their friends, Ryan's sister and her husband, and our buddies Josh, Lucas, Austin and Aaron were there.
My evening in snippets:
-Watched the end of the Steelers game. Tim talked about Samoans being the greatest football players ever. I was slightly lost. He was also ranting about kids getting off MLK day but not President's day. "What about all the important dead white people?" I kid you not.
-Ryan's dad teasing me about my labret. "You've got something on your face. Right about here." "Did I ever tell you about the time I stepped on a nail? Hurt like hell." I love his parents drunk.
-Ryan trying to teach me euchre. For the five millionth time. While I was drunk. Seriously. Just stop.
-Being sexually harrassed by Jason, Brent and Brent's brother, Greg. I enjoy having things thrown down my shirt, and my breasts critiqued every five minutes.
-- Throwing stuff everywhere. Playing cards, bottle caps, lighters, people's personal belongings. I am the most obnoxious drunk sometimes. But I do it with a smile.
-- Hitting the bar. Confirming that Ryan has not schtuped his disease-ridden roommate, Courtney. (That's mean. I really like her, she's a nice girl, people make mistakes. But you know, I'm watching out for me.
)
-- Seeing Ryan's ex at the bar. She's there all the time now, so it's no big surprise. But I think it's starting to drive him nuts. Which is probably why we left and....
-- Hit another bar. Being molested by Greg.
This I did NOT like. The worst part is I think I gave him my number to make him leave me alone. *bangs head on desk*
-- On the way to Steak & Shake after the bar, giving Ryan his head massage (and Greg one too, because he was whining), and having Ryan say, "You think her hands are good, her mouth is amazing."
What a classy guy.
-- At Steak & Shake, Courtney's friend Annie and I pretty much talked about sex, jumping the ugly bald manager, and a bunch of other nonsense. Because we were bored. And we could. I sat there and tagged all the sugar packets with the suicidegirls website, which seemed to fascinate all of them. Especially because none of them know what sg is.
We drove back to Ryan's place, which was a really bad idea because there was snow everywhere. Ryan did 360s in the middle of the road twice (nothing hit); he should not have been driving. We got there and there were still a few people there, watching "Snatch." I'd never seen it before. Maybe it was from being really drunk. And/or high. But that movie was so unbelievably amazing. I'm still in a daze from it.
Austin came back over this morning before his flight back to Germany, and Ryan made us all breakfast. Then him and I had some coffee and cleaned up the kitchen, and we smoked a bowl with Tim. Lazy day Sunday. Would've gone snowboarding with him, but I had school stuff to do.
We picked up his room some, moved some stuff around, tried to figure out where to hang his tapestry and some posters.
We really do have the oddest friendship. It's so strange that we've become this "friends with benefits package" again, some two years after the first round. And I'll fall for him again, and he won't reciprocate again, and I'll be heartbroken again.
Silly, silly girls.
